Paulinho: Brazil midfielder to have Tottenham medical

Brazil midfielder Paulinho will undergo a medical at Tottenham ahead of his proposed move from Corinthians for a fee of about £17m.
Paulinho will also meet Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas and chairman Daniel Levy before finalising the terms of a four or five-year contract.

The 24-year-old arrived in London on Thursday and his medical is scheduled to begin on Friday morning.
Tottenham could be in a position to announce the signing later on Friday.
Real Madrid have also shown interest in Paulinho, but he is now expected to move to White Hart Lane.
Sao Paulo-born Paulinho scored 34 goals in 167 games for Corinthians and played in his country's 3-0 win over Spain in the Confederations Cup final.
He has made a total of 17 appearances for Brazil and scored five times, including goals in their 3-0 Confederations Cup win against Japan and the 2-1 semi-final victory over Uruguay.
