ARSENAL
HOME KIT
With two FA Cup wins in as many years, Arsenal will be looking to go into 2015-16 hoping to seriously challenge on all fronts.
And
judging by a rather extravagant launch of the new home kit, they are
not going to go about it quietly as current first team stars and past
legends including Thierry Henry helped unveil the new Puma strip outside
the Emirates Stadium.
The
team still looks strong on the pitch, and while Puma's new offering for
a home strip ticks the right boxes, in that its mainly red with a dash
of white, it's no improvement on last season's impressive number.

AWAY KIT
Arsenal
released their new gold and navy away strip in a spectacular launch
during the Gunners' pre-season tour in Singapore, with manager Arsene
Wenger hoping the return to a similar changed strip of the 2001-02
campaign will produce the same degree of success achieved that year.
Sylvain
Wiltord's goal at Old Trafford on May 8 2002 clinched the domestic
double for Arsenal, who had won the FA Cup against Chelsea four days
earlier at the Millennium Stadium.
The
strip also has diamond shapes etched onto the front of the kit. It's a
style that has looked tacky on past jerseys from other teams, but
actually reflects well on this particular number.
It may have a similar look to last season's yellow away kit, but this is a good effort from Puma.

ASTON VILLA
HOME KIT AND AWAY KIT
'Say
it like Sherwood' is the message which has accompanied the kit release
for Aston Villa's new home and away strips - but we can't help but feel
this was lost in translation when the words filtered through to Macron.
When
you think of Sherwood, you think shoot from the hip, say it as you see
it, be bold - and that just doesn't come across in the new home kit.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it's a conservative and cautious approach - more Paul Lambert than Tim Sherwood.
The
away kit gets more into the spirit, with Villa set to play in a yellow
strip for the first time since 2006 - even changing the colour of the
badge so that it follows suit.

BOURNEMOUTH
HOME KIT
As
long as the home kit was red and black stripes, this was always going
to be popular with supporters - who will love the new added touch of
Premier League badges on the sleeves.
That's
despite the best efforts of new kit suppliers JD trying to stick their
own patches on the sleeve which will surely be replaced by the top
flight logo come the start of the season.

There's
a touch of AC Milan about this strip, and it's not just the colour
scheme and stripes, as it looks very similar to the San Siro side's kit
from 2000-01.
A solid debut from JD (just get rid of those patches.)

CHELSEA
HOME KIT
Chelsea
have launched their new home shirt for the 2015-16 Premier League
season with sponsors Yokohama Tyres, with Diego Costa the leading man
during the promotional campaign.
The
champions new strip comes with the motto: 'If it's not blue it will
be,' as adidas and Chelsea look to focus on the players determination to
dominate domestic and European football.
It's
another tidy home kit from the Blues, and fans think it will look even
better when those gold champions Premier League badges are placed on the
side.

AWAY KIT
Chelsea's
history contains splashes of away kits that feature the red, white and
blue so it's no surprise to see it return for the 2015-16 campaign -
especially as it blends well with new shirt sponsor Yokohama tyres.
It
was only two years ago that a similar colour scheme graced a Blues
change strip and it's back again as Jose Mourinho's side look to defend
the Premier League title next term.

CRYSTAL PALACE
HOME KIT AND AWAY KIT
Crystal
Palace have unveiled their new kits for their third consecutive season
in the Barclays Premier League as Alan Pardew's side look to push on,
with a glance back to the club's history.
Manufactured
by Italian brand Macron, the red and blue striped home shirt sticks
with Palace tradition, while the vertical-banded away offering is said
to be inspired by famous sash kits of the past.

The vertical-banded away offering is said to be inspired by famous Selhurst Park sash kits of the past
Both kits feature the words 'Crystal Palace FC' below the neck on the back of the shirt
Chairman
Steve Parish said: 'There's only so many things you can do with a
striped shirt so we take a lot of inspiration from the fans and look at
kits around Europe and I think the two shirts we've got this year,
particularly the away shirt, are fantastic.'
The
shirts are without a sponsor for now, with a new brand set to be
applied to the designs to replace current partners Neteller.
While
Parish is correct concerning the limitations with stripes, Macron don't
seem to have found much originality in their home design although
points are awarded for avoiding the age-old trick of simply switching
the stripe order.

EVERTON
HOME KIT
Out
with the old, in with the... erm slightly older. Like most strips these
days Everton's new kit makes a polite nod to history.
But
it was only as recent as 2010 that the Toffees featured a home strip
with a large white v-neck, which in itself was a similar design to that
of the the 1983-85 kit.
The
reverse of the Umbro designed shirt carries an 'NSNO' insignia on the
back neck area, a reference to the Club’s famous ‘Nil Satis Nisi
Optimum’ motto.
Despite
the return of the white v-neck though, we reckon this is a very smart
kit from the Toffees. Whether the Toffees can now reach their mid 1980s
heights again is another question.

AWAY KIT
Sometimes
you have to go with one design and stick with it. Had Everton released a
plain white away shirt, it would have been a little bland, but at least
it would have looked smart.
Had
the Toffees released a hooped kit then they may have even been on to a
winner. Instead it's a hybrid on offer and a rather clumsy one.
You
may be able to get away with the short sleeve version, but Ross
Barkley's face in the promotional pictures rather sums up the the long
sleeve top...

LEICESTER CITY
HOME KIT
After
a stunning end to the 2014-15 campaign where a late surge in form,
which even a title winning team would have be proud of, kept Leicester
up, Foxes supporters would be quite happy with few changes over the
summer.
And they have got their wish too - even if it is in the form of a new home kit.
It's
blue and still has gold trim, with the only notable difference being
the return of blue shorts for the first time since 2009 and in the top
flight since 1995.
But
in truth there is little change from the 2014-15 strip, so our advice
for any cash strapped supporter hoping to stay up to date would be buy
the shorts and you are good to go.

AWAY KIT
It's back in black for Leicester City who will use the colour as a change strip for the first time since 2012-13.
Made
by kit suppliers Puma, the kit has much in common with other templates
such as Arsenal's gold away shirt by featuring a diamond pattern on the
front.
The
black format seems to do the diamond template better justice here and
complimented by white trim this is a neat if not entirely inspiring
change strip.

LIVERPOOL
HOME KIT
This
is the first offering from US sports brand New Balance, who struck a
record-breaking £300million four-year kit deal to replace sister company
Warrior as Liverpool's suppliers.
The
message was 'Hold Nothing Back' as vice-captain Raheem Sterling, Daniel
Sturridge, Martin Skrtel and Simon Mignolet unveiled the new home strip
to fans in the Centenary Stand at Anfield in April.
Liverpool
have produced stylish home kits in recent years and this carries on the
trend - in fact it hardly looks much different to the 2014-15 strip.
Still, it looks the part and is sure to go down well on the Kop.

AWAY KIT
New
Balance may be the kit suppliers for Liverpool these days but there are
no new ideas from what we can see as they have released a simple white
shirt with red trim for Liverpool's away kit.
With
the third kit being a black number with similar minimal detail, it's a
couple of uninspiring designs with just as uninspiring colour choices.
But
hey, what's wrong with nice and simple? Following the
colour disasters that Liverpool have been made to wear away from Anfield
in recent seasons - at least Liverpool supporters can wear this strip
safe in the knowledge they are not going to look like a 1990s throwback.

THIRD KIT
Steven
Gerrard's Liverpool farewell may have been far from ideal at Stoke, but
spare a thought for New Balance who saw their brand new strip lose 6-1
on its maiden outing.
Black
change strips have been a fairly common occurrence in recent years for
the Merseyside outfit, but we wonder how long this one will last given
it's already negative association of being the kit that was worn when
Liverpool suffered their heaviest ever Premier League defeat.
While
it looks nowhere near as bad as the grey kit Sir Alex Ferguson famously
binned as Manchester United boss during a game in 1996, it wouldn't be
a surprise to see the Reds choose to wear an alternate white away strip
next season when they can.

MANCHESTER CITY
HOME KIT
Manchester City have looked to the past with their latest strip.
In
what is the third home kit made by current suppliers Nike, the club's
new home shirt will feature a full plain white collar - in a design
similar to one used by the Mancunian outfit between 1975 and 1981.
A
white v-neck featured on the strip during their first Premier League
title success in 2012, while white shorts are also a returning feature
having been part of the home kit that regained the title in 2014, as the
trim of navy blue is largely ditched with the team attempting to win
back the Premier league title.
White trim seems to be the route of success for City and they have at least released a smart looking strip.

NEWCASTLE UNITED
HOME KIT
So who would have thought it? All Newcastle needed to return to winning ways was a brand new kit!
On
the final home game of the 2014-15 season, Newcastle wore their brand
new Puma made 2015-16 home shirt and it delivered the result desired as a
2-0 win over West Ham United kept them in the Barclays Premier League.
And
what a looker it is too. Puma proves stripes don't have to have
limitations as a nice accent of blue cutting across the lower half of
the shirt really adds a modern feel.
The
electric blue trim, a Toon staple, is replicated tastefully across much
of the shirt, with the only gripe for supporters being the lack of
stripes on the back.
Oh,
and the Wonga logo... sorry,...the out-of-date Wonga logo on the front.
Still, this can be rectified for 2015-16 and at least it fits in with a
colour scheme which makes this one of the best home shirts Newcastle
have had in recent memory.

AWAY KIT
Supporters were pleased with the outcome of Newcastle's away kit for the 2016-16 season, as designers went for a retro look.
The
kit is a tribute to the 90's, when it was the 'Entertainers' era under
Kevin Keegan, as Steve McClaren will be hoping he can emulate the
success of that side.
Wonga
logo aside, the away strip has caught the eye of the fans and it could
make it's Premier League debut against Manchester United on August 22.

The design has taken a retro look as designers paid tribute to the 90's and the 'Entertainers' era
THIRD KIT
Puma
have already released an excellent home kit for Newcastle United, but
their new third strip fails to hit the same impressive heights.
Launched
under the tagline of 'divided we are weak, United we are strong', the
strip is rather bland despite featuring the ever popular sash design on
the front.
The
Wonga logo doesn't help, and although the top of the sash
is officially pink, the combination with white makes it all look like
something Sunderland should be unveiling as a third kit...

Norwich City
HOME KIT
Bouncing
back to the Premier League at the first attempt was the best possible
response from top flight relegation for Norwich in 2014.
But
it's not modern history that the Canaries are celebrating - at least by
looking the design of their new home kit - it's very much a look back
into the distant past.
Often
a popular feature before World War Two and last used in 1947, Norwich
will be playing in a half green half yellow kit to mark their top flight
return.
Full marks to Errea for trying something different (with something old).

Jerome scored in the new strip during the 7-0 win over Gorleston in a pre-season friendly
Jonny Howson (right) was also on target as Norwich wore a home kit design not seen at the club since 1947
AWAY KIT
For
all their good work in designing the home kit, Errea seem to have made a
puzzling error in making an away kit which features the same colours as
the home strip.
Not
too bad in the days when yellow was a dominant colour for Norwich, but
not so smart in a time when greens and yellows share an equal amount of
space on the Canaries strip.
The
bright yellow shorts seem a little out of place on an otherwise green
strip, making this particular number look a bit of a mess.

THIRD KIT
Yikes,
where do you start? Not content with producing a home and away kit with
the exact same colours, Errea complete the grand slam with a third
strip showing more of the same...but worse.
Green and yellow hoops are joined by an orange layer which adds nothing but chaos.

SOUTHAMPTON
HOME KIT
After
a year spent making their own strips, you would have thought
Southampton may have kept to sticking with DIY kits after a tremendous
season in the top flight.
But it's back to adidas for Ronald Koeman's team, who were supplied by the German manufacturer for one season back in 2013-14.
In
reality they don't seem to have changed much at all, as the stripes
remain the same, with not even the order of red and white getting
switched around.
Still
it beats the red kit they produced before and as long as the stripes
remain, that's all the fans will care about. Show your stripes is the
promotional message and we gather Saints followers will be proud to do
so in this shirt.

AWAY KIT
It's
not often you see Southampton playing in Europe, so it seems fitting
that the Saints have unveiled an away strip which features them playing
in an even rarer green strip.
As seems to be in fashion at the moment, the kit features a sash down the front in the colour of navy blue.
The
green may take some adjusting too, but this otherwise looks like a neat
strip and will be fitting at any Premier League ground or Europa League
outfit next term.

STOKE CITY
HOME KIT
It's
not just Liverpool getting a re-branding as Stoke City have also
followed suit in having their Warrior strips being replaced by New
Balance.
But
there doesn't seem to have been much thought put into the Potters' home
strip. The basics are there in that red and white stripes are present
(which are continued on the reverse.)
However,
while that may be good enough for most fans, switching the order of the
stripes so that red is in the middle is hardly pushing the design
boundaries.

AWAY KIT
Always
a favourite for a kit designer these days is to make a nod to the past
and apply a modern twist, and there is no shortage of that on Stoke's
away strip.
But
while the home number falls flat, this change kit has gone down a route
not seen since the 1990s as green and black graces the Potters' away
jersey.
The
River Plate style diagonal has featured on a few Premier League kits in
recent times (like Stoke's blue number from 2014-15) but with black
shorts and black socks to complete the look, it's at least better than
flipping the colours.
AWAY KIT VERDICT: 7/10
Green and black return to the Stoke City away kit for the first time since the 1990s
SUNDERLAND
HOME KIT
Sunderland
home kits have pretty much looked the same for nearly 30 years now, so
adidas had to do something to switch it up and freshen the look.
But
there is no maverick ditching of the stripes as seen at Southampton and
West Brom in recent years, just a delicate tweak which will see white
take a base colour in the shirt, with the usual red stripes on the front
and back to keep the traditionalists happy.
It's
not groundbreaking stuff, and in truth adidas probably haven't gone far
enough to really make a noticeable departure, but it's arguably the
most prominently white Sunderland home strip since 1986.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10

O'Shea, Costel Pantilimon (goalkeeper) and Jermain Defoe helped unveil a
new range of Sunderland strips for the 2015-16 season
Sunderland's new home strip will feature a white base with red stripes on the front and reverse of the shirt
As usual, Sunderland will play in black shorts and socks ahead of another Premier League campaign
AWAY KIT
Whether
they have been made by Umbro or adidas, Sunderland have enjoyed good
fortune over the last half decade in terms of having stylish away
strips.
And
the 2015-16 will be no different, with adidas releasing a green away
kit which features two shades of the colour as well as yellow trim.
It
sounds like a recipe for disaster on paper but in design it comes
across as striking and fresh. While the smart away kit tradition
continues, supporters will hope it won't prove a bogey colour on the
road next term...

SWANSEA CITY
HOME KIT
After looking at the new Swansea City home shirt, we really wanted to call the latest effort from adidas a cop out.
Nothing
in relation to the actual design, just a cheap gag to how the 2015-16
strip will contain the usual white kit and the new copper coloured trim.
Why
the copper, you may ask? According to Swansea: 'The special copper
stripe edition pays tribute to Swansea’s industrial past as a city
renowned for its copper-smelting and manufacturing history in the 18th
and 19th century.'
The
cop out gag would seem a tad harsh (even if that white does seem a
little off), as this is actually a good looking kit - certainly on par
with the gold number which fired the Jacks to League Cup glory in 2013.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 8/10

AWAY KIT
The
copper trim to the home shirt was a wise move, but goodness knows what
adidas were thinking when designing Swansea City's away kit.
The
green and navy blue hoops are going to have people adjusting their TV
sets and maybe even leave a few eyes being rubbed next term, with the
kit's bold design certainly likely to stand out at a few grounds.
It
looks like it belongs in 1995, but supporters seem to have taken to the
kit, with an unofficial fan poll resulting in 60 per cent favouring the
strip. Each to their own I guess...

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
HOME KIT
Finally
some stability at Tottenham, and we don't mean the fact that the north
London club are set to stick with Maurico Pochettino following the
Argentine's first full season in charge.
Instead we refer to a Premier League strip which will feature the same sponsor and kit supplier for the first time since 2010.
And
what a beauty it is too. Using a River Plate style sash, which has six
broken lines to reflect on the crest underneath the cockerel on top of
White Hart Lane, Spurs will at least look the business next season even
if the quest for Champions League football remains a tough ask.

Nacer Chadli was the first Tottenham
player to score in the new kit as Spurs wore their 2015-16 strip in the
2-0 victory over Hull in their final home game of the 2014-15 season
AWAY KIT
While
the sash looks good on the home kit, sadly the away strip doesn't quite
hit the same high standards Under Armour have set in recent years.
Light
blue and navy are traditional away colours for Spurs but merged
together do not make a particularly good look - at least in this case.
The
away kit in fact looks more like a training top but it will prove
popular with supporters should it pick up a few points away from home.

WATFORD
HOME KIT
The 2014-15 campaign proved a memorable one for Watford as they sealed a Premier League return for the first time since 2007.
So
on promotion back to the top flight, you might have thought Puma would
adopt a conservative approach and produce a strip which at the very
least would be dominated by a traditional yellow design.
Instead,
the whole kit takes a radical turn and not really one for the better,
as for the first time in the club's history horizontal lines stretch all
the way down the shirt.
Black is usually a trim colour for Watford but it takes over far too much on this strip.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION
HOME KIT
The Baggies home strip doesn't quite hit the same tender notes as the away kit, but there is a reason for fans to be happy.
That's because the traditional blue and white stripes are back and the inclusion of the red trim is a first since 2005.
White
shorts also return for the first time in two years as adidas somehow
offer something different on a template which otherwise looks familiar.
HOME KIT VERDICT: 7/10

AWAY KIT
If
you are going to produce a strip which is a nod to the past then at
least do it properly and it looks like West Brom have struck gold with
their attempt at nostalgia for 2015-16.
Adidas
may have angered sections of support by bringing in pin-stripes to the
home strip last season, but the majority of fans will be delighted at
their latest away kit.
For
the first time in 30 years, an old style crest will be brought back on
to a red strip which will also be sponsor free, helping recreate a
classic look not seen since the 1970s.
It's
one of the best retro kits you will see this season even if it doesn't
help reproduce retro top three finishes from the same era.

WEST HAM UNITED
HOME KIT
A
new era is dawning at West Ham United. There's a new manager, a new
strip, a new kit supplier and there is soon to be a new home ground for
the east London club.
And
it's the latter which plays the main focus of West Ham's home kit for
the 2015-16 season, with Umbro unveiling a strip which marks the
Hammers' final season at Upton Park before the club move to the Olympic
Stadium.
No need for switching it up a bit from Umbro, who return to West Ham for the first time in five years.
The kit is simple but it looks like a classic and will be a fitting strip to see the back of the Boleyn Ground.
Home kit verdict: 8/10
Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid show off West Ham's new kit, their last at Upton Park
Pedro Obiang told Sportsmail that he cannot wait to get going in the Europa League with West Ham
The new West Ham kit has a special badge to commemorate the club's last season at their ground
The kit also features a tribute to the old stadium, where they have been for over a century, on the back
AWAY KIT
For the away kit, West Ham have simply resorted to a home strip...a very old home strip.
It's a look back to 1901 for Umbro's latest away offering which was the first claret and blue strip worn by the club.
It's
been tidied up a bit, with the original featuring buttons on the right
side of the neck and complimented by white shorts and claret socks. The
2015 version simply features light blue shorts and socks to give it a
modern twist.
The
blue shirt with a claret hoop across the front of the chest has
actually been an away staple at the east London club for a long time
now, but it looks as good as ever as Slaven Bilic trys to steer the
Hammers towards Europa League success this term
AWAY KIT VERDICT: 7/10
New signing Dimitri Payet joined Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell to launch West Ham's new away kit
Angelo Ogbonna, the Hammers' new arrival from Italian giants Juventus, posed in the kit
According
to kit manufacturers Umbro, the new 'lightweight away shirt stays true
to the 1901 original with a claret band across the chest of the shirt'.
It also boasts a 'contemporary feel with a disruptive graphic across the
front and sleeves as well as a v neckline featuring a rib placket' as
seen in the pictures above
